FARMLAND "GREAT START TO EVERY DAY" SWEEPSTAKES

OFFICIAL RULES

ON-LINE PROMOTION ONLY. INTERNET ACCESS AND VALID E-MAIL ACCOUNT REQUIRED.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

1. Entry Period: The Farmland "Great Start to Every Day" Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") begins on September 19, 2011 at 12:00:00 a.m. Central Time ("CT") and ends on February 29, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CT ("Entry Period"). Sponsor's computer is the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes.

2. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age and older. Employees, officers, directors, agents, successors, and assignees of Farmland Foods, Inc. ("Sponsor"), its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, Promotion Mechanics Inc. ("Administrator"), or other parties involved in any aspect with the creation, production, operation, execution and fulfillment of the Sweepstakes (collectively, "Sponsor and its Agents") and members of the immediate families (spouses and parents, children and siblings and their spouses) and persons living in the same household (whether related or not) of such individuals are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

3. To Enter: During the Entry Period, Visit www.farmlandfoods.com or www.facebook.com/FarmlandFoods and follow instructions to complete the online entry form and submit your entry so that it is received by Sponsor's server no later than 11:59:59 p.m. CT on February 29, 2012. The entry form will require you to indicate your Daily Prize preference, which will be used to determine which Daily Prize you will receive if your entry is selected and confirmed as a Daily Prize winner. Once submitted, the Daily Prize preference associated with a particular entry cannot be changed. Late entries will be void and ineligible. Limit one (1) entry per person/email address per day during the Entry Period. All entries become property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. The use of any devices to automate entry, including but not limited to, entries submitted using any bot, macro, script, hack, on-line sweepstakes service or form-filling software (or any other devices intended to automate any part of the entry process) to gain an entry into this Sweepstakes is prohibited. Entries by any means which subvert the entry process will be void. If Sponsor or Administrator, in its sole discretion, determines that any entrant has used any device to automate or subvert the entry process, all entries from that entrant will be void and future entry attempts by the entrant at issue may be blocked.

4. DAILY PRIZE SELECTION/DETAILS/ODDS OF WINNING: Periodically throughout and following the Entry Period, Administrator (an independent judging organization) will conduct random drawings to award one (1) Daily Prize from among all eligible entries received for each of the One Hundred Sixty-Four (164) days of the Sweepstakes. For the purposes of determining the Daily Prize entry pools, each day will begin at 12:00:00 A.M. CT and end at 11:59:59 P.M. CT on each calendar day of the Entry Period. Each Daily Prize will consist of one (1) of the following prizes, based on the Daily Prize preference indicated in the applicable winning entry: [a] Le Creuset 9" Cast Iron Skillet, approximate retail value ("ARV") $100; [b] Le Creuset 8" Stainless Non-Stick Omelet Pan, ARV $80; [c] Le Creuset 1.5 qt. Whistling Tea Kettle, ARV $55; [d] Le Creuset 9" Panini/Bacon Press, ARV $80; or [e] Case of Farmland Breakfast Products awarded as $75 in Farmland free product coupons, ARV $75. The total maximum ARV of all Daily Prizes is $16,400.00. Limit one Daily Prize per household/address. The odds of winning a Daily Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for each day of the Sweepstakes. See Section 6 below for additional prize restrictions.

5. GRAND AND FIRST prIZE Winner selection/DETAILS/ODDS OF WINNING: On or about March 7, 2012, Administrator will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received to award the following prizes:

Twenty-Five (25) Grand Prizes: each Grand prize consists of winner's choice of either: [a] one (1) Le Creuset 6 piece Cast Iron Cookware Set, ARV $550; or [b] one (1) Le Creuset 8 piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set, ARV $450. Grand Prize winners will have the opportunity to indicate their Grand Prize preference at the time of winner notification and verification. See Section 6 below for additional prize restrictions.

Twenty-Five (25) First Prizes: each a Year of Farmland Breakfast Products, awarded in the form of $150 in Farmland free product coupons, ARV $150.00 each. See Section 6 below for additional prize restrictions.

The odds of winning a Grand or First Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. The maximum grand total ARV of all prizes available in the Sweepstakes is $33,900.00.

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION/VERIFICATION/PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Potential winners will be notified by mail, overnight courier, email and/or phone, at the postal address/email address/phone number provided by the participant. Actual means of notification will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. No responsibility is assumed by Sponsor for any incorrect postal address, email address or phone number provided by a participant, or any change of address, email or phone number of participant after participation. Proof of identify, age and/or legal residence may be required to claim a prize. In Sponsor's sole discretion, potential winners may be required to complete a notarized affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and (where permitted by applicable law) a publicity release, which must be returned within the time period specified in potential winner's notification letter. Any failure to timely return required documents or requested information, noncompliance with the terms of these Official Rules, or the return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable will cause prize to be forfeited in its entirety and the participant in question to be disqualified from winning any further prizes in the Sweepstakes. Any forfeited prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected by Administrator in a random drawing from among the applicable remaining eligible Sweepstakes entries, pending verification of eligibility.

All taxes (including without limitation Federal, state and local taxes) in connection with a prize, and the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor makes no representations regarding the tax liability associated with any prize, and winners are advised to seek counsel regarding any tax liabilities associated with their prize. Winners are solely responsible for any unspecified expenses associated with acceptance or use of a prize. Any prize details not specified will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. No prize transfer. Prizes are subject to availability. Unless otherwise specified, no prize substitution except at Sponsor's sole discretion due to unavailability, in which case a prize of comparable or greater value will be awarded. Prizes are awarded as-is and without warranty of any kind, implied or express. Winners should expect to receive their prizes within approximately 6 to 8 weeks following the conclusion of the Promotion.

7. Conditions of participation: You are not a winner until your entry has been verified, and you have fully complied with these Official Rules. If any potential winner is 18 or older, as is required for entry, but not of the age of majority in state of residence (a "Minor"), prize will either be awarded in the name of winner's parent or legal guardian ("Parent"), or Parent must ratify and sign any and all documents required of potential winner, at Sponsor's sole discretion. By participating, participants (or participant's Parent, if participant is a Minor) agree [a] to be bound by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor and Administrator which shall be final and binding in all matters; [b] to release Sponsor and its Agents and Facebook, together with the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, and agents of each (collectively, "Releasees") from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind (including any travel or travel activity related thereto), including, without limitation, personal injury and/or death or property damage, sustained in connection with his/her participation in the Sweepstakes, from his/her receipt, possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of any prize, or for any error in the announcement of any prize; [c] that the Sweepstakes is governed by laws of the United States and all entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in Kansas City, MO for resolution of all claims and disputes, and [d] by accepting a prize, to the announcement/use of his/her name, voice, image, and/or likeness for trade, advertising, publicity, broadcast and promotional purposes without compensation (unless prohibited by law) by Sponsor and those acting pursuant to Sponsor's direction, in each case in any and all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, in perpetuity, including but not limited to the World Wide Web, without notice, review, or approval, and agree to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so.

8. General: Releasees are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: [a] electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind, including without limitation, server malfunction or for any human, typographical, printing or other error relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes, processing of entries; the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes-related materials, [b] failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; [c] late, lost, garbled, misdirected, incomplete, stolen, delayed, misdirected or postage-due entries or mail; [d] inaccessibility of any website in whole or in part for any reason; [e] damage to entrants' or any person's computer or other equipment or the contents thereof; or [f] any condition caused by events that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control (including without limitation, hurricane, fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, war, terrorist threat or activity or insurrection) impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes (or portion thereof), as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and to limit entries to those submitted prior to the action taken, or to proceed in such a manner as may be deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In the event the Sweepstakes is cancelled, Sponsor reserves the right, at its discretion, to award the prizes from among all eligible non-suspect entries received up to time of such action. Entry information and any other materials submitted become the property of Sponsor and none will be returned. In no event will Sponsor be obligated to award more prizes than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules, at any prize level. In the event of any conflict with any Sweepstakes details contained in these Official Rules and Sweepstakes details contained in point of sale, television and print, advertising, promotional packaging and other Sweepstakes materials, the details of the Sweepstakes set forth in these Official Rules shall prevail. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In case of any dispute regarding identity of person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized account holder of the email address stated at the time of entry. Although Sponsor attempts to ensure the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Releasees are not responsible for the actions of entrants or other individuals in connection with the Sweepstakes, including entrants' or other individuals' attempts to circumvent the Official Rules or otherwise interfere with the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or Website; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; to be acting in violation of the terms of the Website, or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike, inappropriate or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. 9. Use of Entrant Information: Information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with these Official Rules and Sponsor's Privacy Policy (as may be amended from time to time), currently located at http://www.farmlandfoods.com/legal#privacy; provided, that in the event of any conflict between these Official Rules and such Privacy Policy, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail.

10. Winner List: For a list of winners, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to be received by April 30, 2012 to: Farmland "Great Start to Every Day" Winners, PMI Station, PO Box 750-W, Southbury, CT 06488-0750.
