Ham and Apple Brunch Strata

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 (1-lb.) pkg. Farmland® Cubed Ham
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 slices whole-grain bread
- 4 to 5 apple(s) quartered, cored, and sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups lowfat milk
- 3 cups (12 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 6 egg(s)
Preparation
- Heat oven to 325°F. Cut ham into small chunks; set aside. Cube bread and place in 13x9x2-inch pan. Layer half the ham and half the cheese on bread.
- Combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; spread on top of ham and cheese. Beat together eggs, milk and brown sugar; pour over apples.
- Layer remaining ham and cheese on top. Bake, uncovered, at 325°F. for about 60 minutes or until puffy in center. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
