Party Reubens

Ingredients
- 1 (1.25-lb.) pkg. Farmland® Special Select - Bratwurst Dinner Sausage
- 40 slices party rye bread
- 1/3 cup thousand island dressing
- 1 (16-oz.) can sauerkraut drained
- 4 ounces Swiss cheese sliced
Preparation
- Place bratwurst in freezer 10 minutes to chill well. Cut each link into 16 slices. Remove casing from slices. Cook in nonstick skillet over medium heat 5 minutes or until well browned, turning once or twice. Remove from skillet and drain.
- Place rye bread on baking sheets. Toast each side of bread at 250°F. for 5 to 8 minutes or until lightly toasted.
- Heat oven to 400°F. Combine sauerkraut and dressing. Spread sauerkraut mixture on toasted bread. Place 2 slices of bratwurst on each slice. Cut Swiss cheese into small triangles and place on top. Bake at 400°F. for 5 minutes or until heated through and cheese begins to melt.
