Ingredients

  • 1 egg(s) beaten
  • 2 teaspoons margarine
  • 4 Farmland® Deep Basted™ EXTRA TENDER™ Boneless Pork Loin - Center Cut for Chops (about 1 1/2-inches thick)
  • 2 ounces Carando® proscuitto
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 oz. Swiss cheese cut into four 2 x 1/4-inch rectangles
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs

Preparation

  1. Slice each chop lengthwise almost in half to butterfly. Between two pieces of plastic wrap, pound each chop to approximately 1/3-inch thickness.
  2. On half of each chop, place prosciutto and 1 piece of cheese; sprinkle with thyme. Roll chops to enclose filling. Coat with flour. Combine egg and water, dip pork in egg mixture and roll in breadcrumbs.
  3. Melt margarine in large skillet. Add pork and cook 10-12 minutes, turning frequently to brown all sides.
