Southwestern Ham Salad

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 (4-oz.) can chopped green chiles
- 1/4 cup dark red kidney beans
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 6 cups torn lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, sliced into wedges
- 1/2 ripe avocado, peeled and sliced into wedges
- 4 slices Farmland® Premium Boneless Classic Cure Half Ham , cut into strips
Preparation
- Cut ham slices into strips; set aside. Combine lime juice, sugar, chili powder and cumin in small bowl; mix well. Stir in chiles, beans and onion.
- Place 1 1/2 cups lettuce on each serving plate. Top with dressing mixture. Arrange tomato, avocado and ham on top of each salad. If desired, serve with salsa.
