Ultimate Tailgating BBQ Dogs

- 2 medium sweet onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 (16-oz.) pkg. Farmland® Jumbo Deli Style Franks
- 8 hot dog buns
- 2 cups smoked pulled pork or beef brisket with barbecue sauce (approx. 1 lb.), warmed
- dill pickles sliced
- Heat gas or charcoal grill to medium. Sauté onions in butter over medium heat until tender and browned, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, cook franks on grill until steaming hot, turning occasionally.
- Place hot dogs in buns. Top with warmed barbecued pork, onions and pickles.
- Tip: If using meat without barbecue sauce added, stir in 1/2 cup of your favorite sauce into the meat when heating.
