Ultimate Tailgating BBQ Dogs

Ingredients

  • 2 medium sweet onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 (16-oz.) pkg. Farmland® Jumbo Deli Style Franks
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 2 cups smoked pulled pork or beef brisket with barbecue sauce (approx. 1 lb.), warmed
  • dill pickles sliced

Preparation

  1. Heat gas or charcoal grill to medium. Sauté onions in butter over medium heat until tender and browned, stirring occasionally.
  2. Meanwhile, cook franks on grill until steaming hot, turning occasionally.
  3. Place hot dogs in buns. Top with warmed barbecued pork, onions and pickles.
