Guacamole Deviled Eggs
This egg-cellent (sorry, we had to) take on deviled eggs features avocado, jalapeños and Farmland Hickory Smoked Bacon.
Prep Time: 10 mins.
4 slices of Farmland® Hickory Smoked Thick Cut Bacon
8 Hard Cooked Eggs
4 ounces of Cream Cheese, softened
6 tablespoons of Mashed Ripe Avocado
2 tablespoons of Mayonnaise
1 Green Onion, sliced top only
1 teaspoon of finely chopped Fresh Cilantro
Salt, to taste
Red Jalapeño slices
1. Cook bacon according to package directions until crisp; drain and chop.
2. Slice eggs lengthwise. Scoop yolks out into a bowl; mash with fork.
3. Add cream cheese, avocado and mayonnaise to eggs; mix until creamy. Stir in bacon, juice from the lime half, green onion, cilantro and salt.
4. Spoon filling into egg white halves. Garnish each egg with slice of red jalapeño. Cover and refrigerate if not serving immediately.
