Mexican-Style Stewed Beans
Loaded with bacon and delicious ham, this is Mexican-style comfort food at its finest.

1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
1 Large Jalapeño, minced
8 Cloves Garlic, minced
1 pound of Farmland® Bacon, diced
1 pound of Farmland® Cubed Ham
4 16 oz. cans of Pinto Beans, undrained
2 tablespoons each of Cumin and Chili Powder
1 14 oz. box of Instant White Rice
3 packs of Goya Sazón Seasoning
1 1/2 cups of Apple Cider
1. Sauté onions, jalapeños, garlic and bacon in olive oil until bacon is cooked.
2. Add ham. Sauté for 5 minutes. Add beans.
3. Add remaining ingredients. Let simmer until majority of liquid is gone. Serve over white rice.
