Sausage & Veggies Crustless Quiche
Fresh veggies, egg whites and Farmland sausage star in this better-for-you breakfast dish.
4 Farmland® Original Pork Sausage Links, cooked
2 cups of chopped Fresh Broccoli
1 cup of sliced Fresh Mushrooms
1/2 cup of chopped Onion
1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
1/2 teaspoon of minced Garlic
1/2 teaspoon of Dried Thyme
1/4 teaspoon of Dried Basil
1/2 cup of shredded Parmesan Cheese
1 1/2 cups of Refrigerated Liquid Egg Whites
1. Cook thawed sausage links in skillet over medium-high heat for 7 to 12 minutes, turning frequently to brown evenly.
2. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9-inch pie plate with nonstick cooking spray. Sauté vegetables in olive oil over medium-high heat until crisp-tender; stir in sausage, garlic, thyme and basil. Pour into prepared pie plate.
3. Sprinkle cheese over sausage mixture. Pour egg whites into pan; pressing down vegetables and sausage so they are under eggs.
4. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes until browned and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing to serve.
